This wonderful print is from the original painting created for the cover of 'Artemis', the second novel in Julian Stockwin's series about Thomas Paine Kydd. Those who have sailed the Great Southern Ocean themselves have confirmed what an astonishingly accurate representation this is of being out on those seas and there can never have been a finer depiction of a late-eighteenth century frigate at sea.
